Accounting and financial advice
Video that lets clients meet you before the first meeting.
We make video for accounting firms, financial planners and brokers: introduction films for the people a client will deal with, client stories told in their own words, and short answers to the questions every client asks. Your licensee's review is built into the timeline. Single films run from $2,000 to $20,000 ex GST.
Nobody hands their tax, their super or their home loan to a logo. They hand it to a person they feel they can read. Before they book, most people want to know who they'll be sitting across from, how that person explains things, and whether people like them have been looked after well.
A website bio can't answer that. A two-minute film of the adviser, the accountant or the broker talking plainly can. That's the job video does best in this sector, and it's the job we build every film around.
The work
Films for firms that run on trust.
EK Financial Group
A walk through what working with the firm actually looks like, made alongside client stories for the same firm.
Beck McLean Finance
A walk-and-talk hero film for a finance broker, filmed across places tied to his clients' outcomes, so prospects meet him before the first appointment.
Ziku
A brand message film introducing the people and the thinking behind the advice.
What we make
The films that do the most work.
One short film per person a client will deal with. Link it in the booking confirmation, so a prospect arrives at the first meeting having already met you. Read more on video for financial planners and advice firms.
A client talking about what was worrying them before they came to you, and what changed. Built around one concern rather than general praise. See testimonial videos that don't feel staged.
Short videos on the questions your team answers every week, from what to bring to a first meeting to how fees work. They save time on every call. See FAQ videos: answering objections before the call.
Why the firm exists and how it works, told by the people who run it. See brand story films.
Shot on the same day as the film while everyone is in the office, so your website and LinkedIn look consistent. See photography.
For the updates that come round every quarter or after every budget. A Turnkey Studio lets your team record in a few minutes. We've installed them in accounting practices for exactly this.
How it runs
Built around your obligations, not bolted on.
We start with what the film has to do
Who it's for, where it'll be used, and what you want them to do after watching. That decides the format before anyone sets up a light.
We ask who has to sign off
Your licensee, your compliance lead, a partner. We find out early and build their review into the timeline, so it isn't the thing that delays the launch.
We don't hand you a script
A director sits with each person and has a real conversation, then we shape the useful parts in the edit. It settles nerves far better than rehearsing lines. More on filming people who hate cameras.
We stay away from the advice itself
No specific returns, no product recommendations, nothing that implies a guaranteed outcome. That line comes from your obligations, and planning for it early saves a rewrite later.
You see every cut first
Nothing is published or used as a portfolio piece without your written approval.
What it costs
Single films run from $2,000 to $20,000 ex GST. An introduction filmed in your office in half a day sits near the bottom. A library filmed over one or two days sits higher and costs less per film. A Turnkey Studio is $5,500 ex GST ($6,050 inc GST), paid once.

What principals and practice managers ask.
How much does a video for an accounting or financial advice firm cost?
A single film runs from $2,000 to $20,000 ex GST. An adviser introduction filmed in your office in half a day sits near the bottom of that range. A library of introductions, client stories and explainers filmed over one or two days sits higher, and costs less per film than commissioning each one separately. Every quote lists what's included, so you can see where the money goes.
Will our compliance team or licensee need to review the video?
Usually, yes, and we plan for it from the start. We don't interpret your obligations for you. We ask early who needs to sign off and build that review into the timeline, so it doesn't hold up the launch. Anything touching specific advice, returns or product recommendations goes to your licensee before it goes anywhere public.
Can our clients appear in the video?
Yes, when they want to. A client talking about what was worrying them before they came to you, and how it played out, is one of the most persuasive films a firm can have. We get their consent before filming, they talk in their own words rather than reading a script, and we keep their figures and personal details out of it.
How do we keep making videos after the first one?
Two ways. We can come back each quarter or each year to film the next pieces in your library. Or we can install a Turnkey Studio in your office, so your team can record updates and answers to common questions themselves in a few minutes, and we edit them when you want us to.
Can you photograph the team on the same day?
Yes. Team headshots and office photography are often shot on the same day as the film, while everyone is in the office and the lighting is already set up. It saves a second visit and gives your website and LinkedIn a consistent look.
