Canberra is the association capital. Peak bodies, member organisations, departments and the professional firms that serve them all live within a few suburbs of each other, and most of them have a story that has to be told carefully. That suits the way we work.
Our model in Canberra is the same director-led setup we run in every capital. Arek shapes the strategy and directs, a vetted local operator shoots on the day, and the edit happens back at the Melbourne studio so the finished film matches anything else you've made with us. There's no Canberra office and we won't pretend otherwise; what you get instead is one person responsible for the whole piece, wherever it's filmed.
What makes Canberra different is the audience. A membership body reporting to its members, a peak body making a case to government, or an agency explaining a program to the public all share one constraint: the message has to hold up under scrutiny. Accuracy matters as much as warmth. That's why the workshop comes first here more than anywhere, because working out exactly what can be said, by whom, and to which audience is half the job before a camera is booked.
Conference and event coverage also runs through Canberra's calendar, and a filmed conference is one of the most repurposable assets an association can own: a highlight film for next year's ticket sales, session cuts for members who couldn't attend, and speaker moments for the channels in between.

Edit in Melbourne
The film is cut at the studio, reviewed against the brief you approved, and delivered ready for the channels it will live on, member portal, conference screen or public site.
