Tasmania is a short flight from our Melbourne studio, and we run Hobart projects on the same director-led model as every other capital: Arek owns the strategy and directs, a vetted Tasmanian operator shoots, and the edit comes back to Melbourne. For a mainland organisation with a Tasmanian site, that means your Hobart footage cuts seamlessly into a national piece. For a Tasmanian organisation, it means big-market strategic thinking without paying to fly a full crew across Bass Strait.
The market here is compact and personal. Producers, makers and operators tend to be known by name, and audiences can tell quickly when a story is dressed up. That rewards the way we work: real people speaking in their own words, filmed where the work happens. Edit in Melbourne
The film is cut at the studio and delivered ready to run, with the extra cuts a smaller market makes so valuable: short versions for social, stills pulled from the footage, and a piece for the channels your audience actually uses.
